Update: Now with resizer scripts. Click each item to adjust the size settings, then choose Delete Script to remove the resizer script and reduce lag. I recommend that you make a copy before resizing/modifying.

Wear the weapon and activate the two gestures, or just right click this folder and choose Add to Current Outfit. (if you have trouble seeing your weapon, make sure your LOD factor is at least 4)

Use F11 to draw and F12 to sheath using the included gestures, or type '/9draw' or '/9sheath' in chat to draw or sheath the weapon.
Sheathing the weapon only makes it invisible, please note that the melee scripts will still work even when the weapon is sheathed/invisible.

To Attack:

Hold down left mouse button while mouse pointer is on the ground,
Keep holding mouse button while using arrow keys and jump for attacks.
Release the left mouse button and the attacks stop.

Mesh Scythe review

(Purchaser review) Mesh and texturing are good. As good looking as any other scythe I have presently, and I do have several prop ones at present. Of course, that is a matter of style, and your mileage may vary in that respect. I purchased the item for the weapon-wielding aspect, and this is where things drop off a bit in value. I am not an old-hand in Second Life, so perhaps the control scheme to use the weapon is pretty standard Unlike a firearm where most controls allow you to point, click and kill, this item requires that you point your cursor on the ground and hold a movement key. This felt a bit clunky to me. Thankfully it was explained in the documentation, because it seems very counter-intuitive and would not have occurred to me to do otherwise. I believe it would cause undo confusion if I was actually trying to attack another avatar (have not tested it in combat yet). However, as I noted, the control may be common in melee weapons in SL. Overall, I was pleased with my purchase, and especially pleased with the seller's clear and helpful documentation and review offer. And of note, this is the only wielded scythe I have seen at this price point. That is a plus if you don't want to go all-out for something that is mostly decorative. The item is something I wanted and it didn't fail to satisfy my needs, so I wouldn't judge it too harshly. Four stars.
