A bit pricey. But very well worth it.
I have been using this board in my game room for several months now. There has never been an issue with bugs. Not even once. The pieces and table are very high quality. A tad up there in prims at 91. But you are certainly getting the visual quality and ease of use out of those prims.
To set up, simply rez the thing. That's it! The table will take care of the rest. To play, have two people sit down. That's it! No HUDs or any additional objects are needed to play. It's literally just like playing chess IRL (minus being able to make illegal moves). You can even Castle and En Passant!
Your global ranking is automatically updated at the conclusion of each game, which is a nice little feature. The ONLY thing that would be a nice addition is the ability to have a timer for moves (should you want them). Perhaps there is an option for this, but I haven't found it anywhere.
$2,000L for a no copy object is a bit up there in cost (for myself, anyways). But don't be alarmed. You are definitely getting what you pay for. Just don't accidentally delete it and you'll be more than happy with what you get. I don't usually write reviews but I love chess and this has worked so well for so long. It deserved a good one.
Awesome product.
Works perfectly and well worth it. Just have a fear of it being no copy and going to lose it in a sandbox.
