When the trigger object is payed, the lava bursts into flames and smoke, with particles rocketing up into the air high above for a phenomenal display.

Even the lava itself goes FAR beyond a boring old photo on a prim. The lava has three layers ... an invisible top layer of white mist particles; a middle layer with a rotating translucent lava texture and ambient black smoke particles; and a bottom layer with a more-slowly rotating opaque lava texture, ambient black smoke particles, and bubbling lava sound effect. The lava has a depth and look unparalleled in SL.

The system in general is no mod/no copy/trans, though the trigger object and sound fx objects have modify permissions and some scripts are full permissions so as to allow customization by the owner.

METAMORPH PYROTECHNIC VOLCANO DIRECTIONS

1. Rez the Metamorph Pyrotechnic Volcano LAVA and place it in your volcano's mouth.
2. Set the Metamorph Pyrotechnic Volcano TRIGGER OBJECT out where people can see it ... or, take the scripts out of it and place them in your own object. Paying this object will trigger the eruption for 30 seconds.
3. The sound effects for the volcano will come from both the lava and the trigger object. If you'd like people to be able to hear it more clearly in other locations, hide a Metamorph Pyrotechnic Volcano SOUND FX OBJECT in those places.

TO TRIGGER WITHOUT PAYING
Stand near the lava and in your chat window type /XXXX ERUPT ... shouting from a distance works, too.

TO CHANGE THE PRICE
Stand near the trigger object and in your chat window type /XXXX $100 (or whatever price you'd like) ... again, shouting from a distance works, too. The default is $29.

TO CHANGE THE HOVER TEXT
Just go to the trigger object's contents and open the script that's called Metamorph Volcano HOVER TEXT, and change the current text to whatever you like.

TO CHANGE THE THANK YOU MESSAGE
You can also change the "thank you" message that's shouted when someone pays. Go into the trigger object's contents and open the script that's called Metamorph Volcano THANKYOU, and change the text as you like.

TO INCREASE, DECREASE, OR TURN OFF THE BUBBLING LAVA SOUND
Touch the lava, and a dialog menu will come up letting you turn off or change the volume of the bubbling sound.

TO INCREASE YOUR MIST'S FLUFFYNESS
The fluffyness of the lava mist depends in part on your location ... your property has a limited number of particles available, so if you already have a particle generator nearby then your mist will be less full. It also depends on your Preferences settings. In the bar at the top of your window, choose Edit and then Preferences. In the Graphics tab, increase your Max. Particle Clouds setting by moving the slider to the right.
