Easy to set up, look good, and can be stretched around to look good in your exact situation without looking too weird. I need more of this on SL lol
A great kit, with several shortcomings.
The positives:
It is a great idea, the modular pieces are well thought out, the geometry is optimized and clean, it is easy to use and there is enough variety to furnish an entire street.
The negatives:
LODS: I actually bought this product due to the review above, praising the use of proper LODs, which are especially important for large background pieces, ment to be seen from far away.
Unfortunately, while these do have a medium lod, the low and lowest lods are just a triangle mess, and across a region, it will inevitably show up.
TEXTURES: This is my second gripe. Each modular part is using 3 uniquely baked textures, each of the different modules effectively adds 12Mb of textures, to the scene, when they could have used multiple, smaller repeating textures. On top of this there is a very distinct lighting baked into each textures, so the left and right side walls effectively do not have the same color.
Please, please, please, release an update that doesn't use baked textures, recycles textures across all the modules, and has proper low & lowest lods and this will easily be the best building prop set out there.
