This item is a real, working SL sundial. It is not scripted but uses SL's sun and moon to show the actual time. You need to enable SHADOWS for this item to work.
Viewer 1.x:
1. CTRL ALT D –> Advanced menu appears
2. Advanced - debug settings: Set renderdeferred to FALSE and renderusefbo to TRUE
3. Advanced - debug settings: Set renderdeferred to TRUE
Viewer 2.x:
1. CTRL ALT D –> Advanced menu appears
2. advanced –> show develop menu
3. develop - rendering - framebuffer objects
4. develop - rendering -lighting and shadows
5. develop - rendering - shadows from sun, moon, and projectors
12 o'clock has to point to the north. Place the sundial on a flat surface at a place where no other objects obscure the sun/moon.

What were they thinking?
No modify. Wow. I can't change anything on it, just put it out as the builder DECIDES I should have it out. WASTE of 100 L.
I Don't Like It! It's way too Small and I can't Change larger
It's way to small for my park... I can't Change the size, I purchase 2 for L$200 and now it's going to be a piece of JUNK in my Inventory!
Try making this Larger, or give permission to change sizes the park is not a Children's Park...
