All dance machines are NOT created equal. At least this one isn't. It's special.
The MultiMode Dance Machine lets you store as many dance animations as you like, and then offer them to your guests in themed sets. A set might contain one or two dances, or it might contain a dozen or more. This means that you can store, for example, 60 dances in the machine and ....
* Group all of your rock & roll animations for a 60's Dance night, or your Latin dances for a South American night, or ....
* Group your fast dances and your slow, romantic ones in separate sets, or ....
* Group your Male and Female dances in separate sets so that guests can choose a set that only has dances designed for them
You can offer your guests your choice of sets without needing to remove any dances that you don't need at the moment. The MultiMode Dance Machine only uses the animations that you have added to sets. The rest just sit quietly in the dance machine until you want to use them. Want to offer different sets? Each set is described on its own notecard, so all you have to do is remove or edit ones that you don't want to use, and add others. No tricky language or special codes either.
So how does it work?
A guest clicks on the dance machine to start, and then selects one of the dance sets you have made available. Each set updates once a minute. People who have chosen that dance set are always in sync, but are using different animations from people who chose other sets. To try a different set, a guest simply clicks on the dance machine to stop and then clicks to chose a new set. It's all very easy.
Your MultiMode Dance Machine includes:
* The MultiMode Dance Master script
* The DaNcE support script (You make up to 32 copies, one for each dancer)
* The HELP -- MultiMods for describing dance sets
* Three sample dances to demo and test your installation
* A full perm texture that you may apply to your own dance ball or sign
You provide:
* An object to put the MultiMode Dance Machine in. (A one-prim ball or a sign will do, but you can get as fancy as you like.)
* Your own collection of favorite dance animations.
- Dancers choose from sets of dances that you define
- Create as many sets as you like, for different events or audiences
Good So Far.
I bought this and have been playing with it.
Can I sell an object with these scripts in them?
Could the scripts be changed to have a controller note that allows the user to change the number of loops played for each animation, or the number of seconds for each loop?
Currently each animation plays for 60 seconds, regardless how long it is. :)
Thanks for making this.
