The "Claire Bear - Nearby Chat Board" will pick up messages in nearby chat and display them on the Board.
● Log in to the board by pressing the "Login/out" button and then your local chat messages will be printed on the board until you logout by pressing the button again.
● Logged-in avatars will also have their objects' and attachments' chat messages printed on the board.
● 24 lines of text with up to 28 letters each for a potential total of up to 672 characters displayed at a time.
● The chat channel that the Board picks up on can be changed via the hud.
● "No Log Mode" can be activated from the menu which makes it so that logging into the Board is not needed. While in this state, all messages broadcast into chat will be displayed, regardless of their source.
● "Lock Logins" can be activated from the menu which prevents avatars from logging into the Board while active.
● Avatar names at the beginning of each message will be truncated to only the first name to save space or can be turned off altogether from the menu.
● Names at the beginning of each message will be colour-coded based on whether the source of the message is a male avatar, a female avatar, an adrogynous or indiscernible avatar, or an object which is not an avatar at all.
● All text colours can be customized via the hud.
● Permissions settings via the menu on a per-function basis.
● 7.81m x 6.69m printable display area out of the box.
● Resizable (Land impact will probably go up if you make it bigger, but it's already quite large).
● Allows modify.
● Could be used as an event calendar, or a PSA board, or a rules board, or probably other stuff too.
● Lightweight. Just one script!

YES! FOR REAL! You probably won't find this on any other chat board.
The Board supports a select subset of unicode characters with diacritics for writing Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Icelandic, Slovenian, and probably at least a few other European languages without my even realizing it. It also supports a few miscellaneous characters like hearts, musical notes, a smiley face, ellipses, and more.

I am willing to add support for additional Unicode characters if there is demand for them... But not for Oriental languages... I don't have seven years to spend sitting around making thousands of font sheets. lol
