This Offsim dolphin is highly customisable through her menu of options and settings and will randomly swim fully offsim, partially offsim or fully within the sim within her settable swim area. She can even be set to swim at any height above the Linden ocean.
Her random free swimming is complemented with jumps, tailstands, spins and swimming underwater complete with various particle splashes and water effects. She is just fascinating to watch and so realistic! And she does it OFFSIM! if you have looked at other offsim dolphins in SL, you will find her just plain AMAZING!
The Offsim dolphin requires a minimum area of 12m x 12m, in which all tricks will be performed regularly. She can swim up to 48m off the edge of your sim.
We also provide a "Dolphin Finder" tool/HUD in case you cannot find your dolphin. This can be rezzed or worn and when touched, your dolphins will report their location to you if they are in the same region.
The dolphin includes both an automatic quick setup mode as well as a flexible advanced setup menu. It can be set to operate in a wide variety of land situations including operating fully offsim, partially offsim and partially on sim, and even fully on sim if you wish giving you full flexibility.

This Offsim dolphin is highly customisable through her menu of options and settings:
Menu access can be set to to Owner only or Group (Owner option only).
Setup dolphin swim area either automatically or manually using moveable swim area limit balls.
Set dolphin swim level either automatically or manually to any desired swim level.
Rename your dolphin or show its name in float text above your dolphin (Owner option only).
Select from three trick frequency levels plus tricks off (default mid).
Splashes & ripple effects can be turned on or off (default On).
Select from four sound choices plus random sounds or sound off (default is Random).
The swimming animation can be turned off if you are experiencing sculpt loading problems due to extreme sim lag by selecting Animation.
From the HELP menu, receive a help notecard or the Owner can also reset all the scripts in the dolphin.

I am a long time Second Life player 17 years.. an God knows I’ve purchased a ton of stuff .. but today has literally been the best experience I’ve had in all these years. I purchased the offsim Dolphin and the baby Dolphin. I had just moved to a new house with a wonderful ocean view.. but something was missing, I noticed one of my neighbors had an Orca .. pretty cool.. but I’m a perfectionist and I needed a little more excitement … Crissi Yoshikawa provided that! I was having trouble with the set up .. truly pilot error on my part I didn’t realize I had bought two different dolphins, one for off sim one for in sim.. before I could reach out to Tropical Creations Crissi reached out to me and asked if I was having trouble .. she explained what I had done an helped me get the right offsim Dolphin an then proceeded to set it up for me!!! Let me just say I was truly blown away with her customer service an kindness.. it was truly a first for me in all the years I’ve played. I give Tropical Creations 50 stars.. The fine detail realism of the Dolphins are second to none. If you’re undecided on buying .. just do it you won’t be sorry.

Your coastal land is missing something without a dolphin family swimming around. The only thing that isn't clear in the notecard is: make sure you rotate the root prim to face your water. I had the baby stuck underground even though the overhead ball appeared to be following the mommy. Really easy to set up otherwise, either set the limits by editing the setup balls' locations, or just let it roam in the maximum area it detects.
Definitely five stars!

The owners of the store where so kind to help me place the dolphin and pointed out they also have a baby dolphin that swims with mom. Without their help I doubt I could have set it up. Awesome product. Fantastic service . 5 stars for sure !

I had no idea it is even possible to have an animated off sim dolphin, but Tropical Creations did it, setup was easy peasy and now my dolphin ( I named him Reginald, is a proper name for a dolphin ) is swimming and jumping happily off sim, thank you for creating this, Crissi.
