Now you can swim on or offsim with your orcas and dolphins for an INCREDIBLE nature experience! Only from Tropical Creations, the leaders in Offsim magic! This unique swimmer is controlled from a rock which must be placed within your land borders and will allow you to swim 1000m or more offsim with a choice of eight different strokes when at the surface & three strokes when free diving underwater with five speed controls. Although designed to swim offsim it also allows you to swim on sim and set the water level if you want to use it in a skybox or at a pool.

It provides a unique experience to swim with our offsim & on sim dolphins & orcas!

Optimised for most avatar sizes, so a short or tall avatar works equally well

========== Quick Start Set Up ==========

Rez the rock close to your water
Touch to sit on the rock
Allow the HUD to attach to your avatar

If your avatar isn't facing the water, either rotate the rock or turn left or right to face in the right direction
Tap your forward key to dive or jump into the water
Use your movement keys to swim and PgDn / PgUp to swim down or up

Tips:
Use Home on the HUD to return quickly to the rock
If you prefer your camera closer to or further from your avatar, roll your scroll wheel

========== Set up Options & Rock menus ==========

The rock needs to be placed within 20m of the water level. Ideally place the rock up to 1.2m above the water and you will dive in. If the rock is higher you will jump in.
The swimmer allows the rock to be placed underwater where the user will swim, so it can also be used in underwater worlds.

The menu in the rock can only be accessed by the owner. Access to swim can be set to owner, group or public, however to use the HUD, users must be allowed to run scripts on your land. If your land restricts residents from running scripts, you only need to set a small area to extend those permissions where the rock is placed.

Set water ~ the SL ocean level is automatically detected but you can change that here if for example you are using it in a skybox or at a pool
Text on/off ~ turn the float text on or off on the rock
Hide / show ~ hide or show the rock
Reset ~ reset the script in the rock, this will also remove any saved HUD settings.

========== HUD Instructions ==========

After accepting the HUD it is attached temporarily so it will not clutter up your inventory and it is detached when you stand up.
You can move the HUD on your screen or resize it and choose to show words or icons and save those settings via the Help menu
Depending on your preference, you can close the HUD and use repeat menus or just use the HUD by turning off repeat menus via the Help menu

To start swimming, face the water and tap your forward key to dive or jump into the water.
Select your preferred stroke via the stroke menu and speed via the speed menu.
Use the forward, left or right movement keys to swim.
To swim underwater or to return to the surface, use Page up or Page Down.
If you prefer your camera closer to or further from your avatar, roll your scroll wheel

You can swim at least 1000m offsim and into neighbouring sims.
We do NOT recommend you swim into land areas where you are not welcome.

The Offsim swimmer HUD has six buttons which can show text or icons and link to three menus (Stroke, Speed & Help menus)

~ Home
returns you to the starting pad. Useful when you are a long way offsim.
~ Stroke
Provides the relevant stroke menu depending on whether you are underwater or not.
Choose from eight different strokes if you are at the surface or three strokes if underwater.
If you are using repeat menus and select a stroke thats not compatible with your location a compatible stroke will be applied.
Access the Speed & Help menus or go HOME to the starting pad.
~ Speed
Set the speed of swim from 1 to 5 (default: 3)
~ Save HUD
Save the HUD size, position and appearance (words or icons)
This will apply only until you stand up unless you are the owner when it will persist in subsequent swimming sessions.
~ Help
Set the HUD to show icons or words, resize it, repeat the menus or not, save the HUD settings or get a copy of these instructions.
Access the Stroke & Speed menus
~ Close
Close the HUD to minimise it on your screen
