Nothing fancy, this is rather an idea to share than brilliance in scripting; this HUD simply adds a block to your HUD that you can store notes on the go into.
For example, you've got a list or notecard you update in a drop box somewhere, but the notecard you use to update it is somewhere in your inventory... SOMEWHERE.
This works kind of like a USB stick back in the day when you had to transfer files from one place to another, but so you can edit it anywhere and always know where the file you want to keep updated is stored.
EDIT NOTECARDS FROM THE INVENTORY IN EDIT MODE
Add the hud to your avatar outfit, then right-click it, choose "edit," go to contents and pick the notecard to edit and rename.
(DO NOT edit the version the notecard selector will open; that's for read-only, although it will enable editing. If you don't want to use the notecard selector, maybe because it will only show 12 notecards/characters in the notecard name and then show nothing but errors, simply delete it. That script is not an integral part of this.)
SAVE WITH YOUR OUTFITS SO IT'S ALWAYS THERE.
Save with every outfit. (And while you're at it, add a few tiny invisible placeholders prims into all of your saved outfits so you can find and replace links when you need to add something into all of your outfits.
