Personalizing your egg.
Do not rez the egg inworld - it will change the permissions on the egg and you will not be able to rename it again*
* This is fine if you don't want to change the name/message again and you want to display the egg.

1)Wear the egg object and right click on it for the edit menu pop up.
2)Go to the object description and fill it with your new message or name (Up to 16 Characters)
3)Touch the object to set the new name which should appear on the lid of the box.

You can now transfer your personalized egg or keep it for yourself!

Personalizing your Card

To re-texture
Rez the card in-world and drag your new texture or photo over the message portion of the card to retexture it.
It helps to do this slowly and wait till the area you are texturing is highlighted/outlined.

You can wear or rez your card to use it.
