OnP Can Can Show System
A fairly complete can can show dance system. It includes a 5 ball line dance type can can animation with two full length (30 second) animations inside, and complete with sync. It also includes 15 costumes that can be given out by you, and a gramaphone that can play the can can song.
The 15 costumes are 5 costumes each of purple, red, and gold that are transferable, and can be given out by you to up to 15 dancers. Each costume also contains a special posing stand that helps ensure the hands are on the swishing skirt properly. The costume and animations are designed to work together. Each costume is extensive and includes 15 pieces, although since there is a choice of skirt length, long or just below the knees, the dancers would wear 13 items since both the skirt and slip length are optional. And yes, of course several items are flexi including the skirt and the slip. Instructions also included in each dancer box.
The gramaphone plays the can can song for two minutes, and then repeats the song at its start. It does not use SL streaming audio, but instead uses the sound effects usage of SL in order to work. Since SL allows sound effects to be only 10 seconds long, the software inside strings together 12 segments of the song in order to get to two minutes. We use pre-loading techniques and timing to get the segments to work closely together, but just like a real gramaphone, there will seem to be brief clicks and skips, which we think add to the realism of a real gramaphone anyway. The gramaphone works via a menu when left clicked by owner. Only the owner can control it. The owner can turn it on, or shut it off and also change it between 5 volume choices.
For the animation, new dances will simply kick until the next sync pulse arrives for the two main animations inside. This will be 30 seconds or less. After that time, the dancers are kept in close sync by a sync signal every 30 seconds when the dance changes between the two animations.
As for prims, 5 for the can can animation pose ball system, and 8 for the gramaphone makes up the 13 shown on the reference here. And yes, while the costumes and animations work together, it is up to you if you wish to use the gramaphone as well.

... and cleverly done, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in a classic (non-mesh) setup.
The music player provides a generous length of the original Offenbach Can-Can dance; the animation is lengthy and includes the main steps (grandes battements, ronde de jambes and of course the naughty bottoms-up move). It's for up to 5 people, who get a choice of different costumes and their own free animation routine. A posing stand is also provided so you can adjust the height of the edge of the dress as it's held up in front of the avatar to create the sexy oo-la-la frilly moves.
While a mesh can-can outfit will look better than the classic outfit provided, I doubt if it will move properly, lacking this hold-the-edge feature. Can you use a mesh, Maitreya-type avatar? Again, I doubt it.
But who cares? This Can-Can Outfit is a great excuse for hauling out your fave classic avatar and organising a great social Event: anything from Victorian Naughty NIneties to a modern Moulin Rouge Burlesque!
