not good enough
It functions but that's the one positive remark. ALL entered names stay visible BELOW the green dot; green on-, red offline. This is a screen cluttering device. Compared to similar Online Detectors not worth the Linden. Redesign or adaptation was promised but still not done. I feel sorry for this bad review, i wished this Online Detector has a better user interface..

Nice Online Detector!
I bought this online detector a few years ago. The detector comes in handy is several ways. The main use is to see if someone is online even if not on your friend list. I used this before to let me know when a merchant was online to return something I bought. Additionally, for those looking for SL love :) or SL lost love or hiding from being SL stalked (know when a stalker is not online) I guess the Online Detector works for those uses too.
As for performance, I've used a couple of online detectors in the past that didn't give a quick status update. There are some that takes about and hour to update, or didn't update at all. This Online Detector responds faster.
Also, the author Maxx is good at providing support. I've contacted him a couple of times and he responded quickly.
Works great!!!

Great tool for the price
I was surprised how easy this was to use. It was fast to just add some names to the notecard. It's good cuz I can just monitor the few people that I care to know about. And also for the people I want to know if they are online or not without having to friend them. Also it's nice to turn off the popup online status notifications and not have to open a new window every time. It's pretty small and looks nice enough.
