This online status indicator shows your online status to others. To change the picture for the indicator, simply drag a texture/snapshot from your inventory over the "Your Picture Here" image. To make the owner's menu appear, just click the online status indicator board.
The online status indicator has 2 modes: "Auto"(the default mode) and "Unavailable". In "Auto" mode, the online status indicator automatically detects your online status and updates itself accordingly. In "Unavailable" mode, the online status indicator will always show you as unavailable regardless of your online status.
The hovertext can be turned on and off by clicking "Hovertext" on the owner's menu, then clicking "On" or "Off".
Pages and messages:
When someone other than the owner clicks the indicator, a dialog will appear giving them the option of sending you a page or message. If they choose "Send Page" from the dialog, the indicator will immediately send you a message stating who has paged you, as well as the option of IMing that user or teleporting directly to them. If they choose "Send Msg", a text input box will appear asking them to enter a message which will be sent to you, as well as the option of IMing that user or teleporting directly to them. If you are offline when you are paged/messaged, you will receive the page/message when you log in. The indicator does not allow for pages or messages when set to "Unavailable" mode.
Anti-Spam:
New in Version 2.0 and later is a configurable anti-spam timer. The timer lets you decide the amount of time that someone must wait before being able to send you another page/message. If they attempt to send you a page/message before their wait time expires, they will be given the amount of time they must wait before they can send you another page/message.
*Direct teleportation can be affected by region and parcel settings. If you teleport to a "landing point" after clicking the link, try clicking the link a second time. This will not work if the region does not allow "direct teleport". Also, please be prompt when using the teleportation link as the person who clicked the indicator may have already left the area.
