Open Sim Radar
Version 0.8.6 - Radar can now be resized as well as rotated. Scan animation as been updated to resize and rotate with board as well.
Version 0.8.5 - Changed how object rez/set up is handled. Fixed agent positioning on map and added ability for object to be rotated.
Version 0.8.1 - First release
This is a basic open source 3d radar its full permission and partial mesh. The agent objects are mesh well the radar object is a basic cube.
It uses 1 prim well off and 1 additional prim for each agent.
Features:
* Touch agent marker for information
* Shows Agent (Status Flying, Hovering, Sitting, Away, Busy)
* Private and public access settings
* Low script time
NOTE: this is not perfect it has some bugs. If an avatar logs in and out quickly on the sim there marker may not re appear till the radar is restarted.

checked some other radars but this one did exactly what i wanted for my air traffic control tower.
