Congrats on buying the Orion Rocket

Just rezz the Launch pad and try and verify that there are no obstructions in the skies above.

Then rezz the Orion Rocket. Make sure it hase good clearance from the Tower and basically is positioned in the bullseye of the launch pad.

Sit on the rocket, and two friends can also sit on it, there are three seats mounted in a special viewing compartment.

Alternatively you can also launch the Orion Rocket with NO passengers, it will do the same thing.

When left clicked the Rocket fires up and blasts off. It will continue flying straight up unless it is obstructed by some air craft or sky box violating its airspace. It will automatically de rezz at 4096 m ( this is the general rezz limit in SL)

Be sure and wear your parachute for the free fall back down.

Despite the primmage required (about 41) to use this, it's a great idea. It could be better. For 41 of your prims and 99 linden dollars, you get to be the envy of your neighborhood (I placed my on top of my Linden Home :-) because the heliport there didn't make as much of a "statement").

The seats for the pilot and passengers should be out of the way of the fuel tanks and rocket motors, and perhaps there should be a little more realism in other aspects of the design - an elevator you take up the otherwise useless gantry to get into the rocket, for example. That's not too much to ask for the price, I think. Also., there ought to be a reliable way to get out of the rocket BEFORE it de-rezzes.

But the concept's very nice, I can JUST put this on top of my Linden Home, and you can't beat this as entertainment for visitors :) If you have the spare prims, the only way to improve this would be a vendor box for your friends to get freebie or dollarbie parachutes. You'll want them when the rocket goes away :-)
