The model itself looks good, but the effects are lackluster

Alright so I like the look of the model itself. Not superb, but definitely decent enough to be used. My biggest complaint is that both the fire effect and the sounds are pretty bad, even for SL standards. The sound is kind of muffled and odd, not sure how to describe it but it isn't very pleasant to me.
The fire itself doesn't really look like fire at all, other than being orange. There is a weird rotating fireball-ish effect in the logs and then a second one that looks like spotty orange rays blasting straight up.
I feel like the fire could absolutely be better, there really isn't any excuse to not have a better fire effect, there are lots of canned options out there that could have been used. The sound I could live with, but combined with the poor fire effect, it's enough to make me never want to actually turn it on.
The item is modifiable, so if you aren't happy with colors or textures, you can select individual faces of the legs, bowl, ashes, rocks and logs to change or tint them yourself.
I hate to leave an overall poor review, I really do, but I owe it to others to be honest and thorough. All in all, for 30 Lindens it's not the worst option out there, but you could probably find something quite a bit better for a tiny bit more. If the effects were updated to something better, I'd happily use it.

if someone complain then they do not have basic build skills. This is exactly what you need if you need something or outside or inside, it is very beautiful everywhere !
yes it will not copy scripts in-world if you try to copy this fireplace, but lot of stuff in SL are copyable only from your inventory not in-world, i think it is better then nothing, because if no copy then is more easier to lose things and buy them several times , i think C-Outlet is one of the best in SL!
