The earcuffs look great and have a low impact on the avatar rendering costs. The HUD does the job. I appreciate that the earcuffs are set to "modify" so it is easy to adjust or change the textures or the shine. Gives you much more possibilities than with the HUD so that the earcuffs will match nearly every outfit. ;-) If you think the original textures are disappointing as another buyer did just change them....
Disappointing
...I thought it was just taking a really, really long time for the textures to rez and become shiny, like metal. But no. The texture is actually, apparently, supposed to look like it is...raw. Like a raw, untextured mesh. Not shiny, not like metal. Really awesome style of earring but the texture makes it look so unfinished. Bummer.
