[Description)
The particle generator was developed as an in-house tool for our company. The goal was to take the basic functions of both freebie generators and paid ones and come up with the best possible design, and the Paragon Equipment particle generator is the result.
Please note that at least some scripting experience is required to get the most out of this tool. The particle generator is fairly advanced and some experience with particles is *highly* recommended.
To read more about particles, visit the wiki: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlLinkParticleSystem
[Features)
• 10 particle layers
• Only 30 prims in total
• Clear and obvious controls
• Color pickers for fast color changing
• Change values using a chat command or by clicking the +/- buttons
[Usage)
To use the particle generator:
1. Begin by rezzing the particle generator, the land must allow build, and scripts must be enabled.
2. Turn the first layer on.
3. Adjust the values to your liking. You can also pick a texture; click the panel and enter the texture UUID.
4. Create more particle layers by turning them on and adjusting the values.
5. Generate the layers by pressing the 'Generate' button. The generator will give you a link. Click the link and copy the code, and paste it into your script.
6. Enjoy your totally awesome particle effect.
To load a preset, click the button and enter the particle preset (as generated by this tool) into the correct channel.
If it fails to load, try to remove all spaces in the preset.
To copy a layer, all you have to do is generate the current layer, copy the entire code, then move to a different layer and load it as a preset.
- 10 particle layers.
- For both beginners and advanced users.
- Generates code to a HTML page for quick copying.
- Very simple to use.
Arguably best damn particle generator out there.
Though it goes to say that this will require a intermediate knowledge of scripting it is nothing that can not be learned from the LSL Wiki in a day or less.
To use this product simply turn it on, apply a texture by UUID then fiddle around until the particle effect looks how you want it too, this is by no means a retard proof concept, some fiddling and learning is to be expected but the end result is far superior to something more basic.
When done with your creation press the Generate button under Misc, then copy paste the wall of code into your script.
