This decor
is bs
There is nothing wrong with the design but there are some serious execution problems.
Lets start with the textures then.
* Net texture: 1024x1024 and it is 80% unused, really?
* Hoop texture: 1024x1024 again, it's metal tubing, you can optimize this a lot better.
* Panel texture: 1024x1024, i suppose it's acceptable but why baking the shadow of the tubes, this it 2018, we have realtime shadows.
* Armature tubing: 1024x1024 again, it's 4 pieces of tubing and bolts, you can use a lot less than that.
* Wood armature: 1024x1024 Almost half of the texture is basically unused.
* Ball 1024x1204 + a 1024x1024 shadow, do I need to say more?
Optimize your texture usage, just because you can waste a 1024x1024 texture doesn't mean you should.That's 24Mb of video ram for a basketball hoop out of the 512Mb that the Linden Viewer allocates for textures.
Now onto the models:
* 16896 triangles for the net alone is way too much for a game grade model, same for the hoop & panel model.
* The hoop almost entirely disappears at the medium lod, that's 5 meters away with the Linden viewer default settings.
* The net disappears at medium lod too, that's a mere 2.5 meters away.
* The ball: High lod looks good, if maybe a bit overkill. No handmade lower lods clearly, and i'm sure your customers would prefer a ball they can use to make other things, one that doesn't have a shadow plane as part of the mesh.
Make better LOD models, optimize your texture usage, for 300L$ that's the least you can do.
Good shape but
Only one fault is the net and ring disappear when I get away.
