This is a simple but powerful detector for locating objects that you OWN or have CREATED but may have misplaced. This can sometimes be a difficult task, especially if the objects are small, transparent, inside other objects, or buried. Prim Finder can locate anything up to 96m.
Prim Finder is designed to be worn. By default, it will attach to your chest, but you can change that attachment point if you prefer a different spot. Simply touch Prim Finder to do a scan.
If there are more than 16 objects within scan range, Prim Finder will only record the closest 16. If you scan multiple times Prim Finder will not count the same object more than once, however, so you can move to several spots to accumulate a record over a larger area.
By default, Prim Finder will record the position of any objects within a 30m radius that you own. You can change the scan range to any value between 1 and 96 m. If you wish, you may also scan instead for objects that you created (see below).
Prim Finder responds to these chat commands on channel 73:
"creator" scans for objects CREATED by you, whether you own them now or not.
"scan xx" sets the range of the scanner to xx meters (maximum 96m)
"report" sends the list of found objects and locations to chat. Locations are recorded as <X,Y,Z> in region coordinates.
"where" tells you where you are right now
"reset" empties lists, resets range to 30m, and sets Prim Finder to scan for items OWNED by you, whether you created them or not.
"help" produces this text in chat.
