The Panther is the second in a new series of fighters that I will be releasing in the coming weeks. See also the Tiger, Jaguar, and the Lion.
So you just bought that giant Prometheus spaceship and now you need some quality fighters to fill the bays. Well look no further, the Panther is your ship.
This ship uses the CCC combat script set, so it can fight against any other CCC enabled ship(currently SL's most popular air to air combat system). CCC is also effective against avatars using RCS.
In flight is controlled in mouselook and has an afterburner boost for when the action gets too hot. Other features include an opening canopy, retractable landing gear, and custom particle effects. The Panther also has a touch menu system for starting, stopping and landing gear.
The design is a classic yet innovative one that utilizes custom made textures and a sculpted prim for the nose.
As with most of my ships, I've left as many of the scripts open as I could for you budding space ship builders, this includes the flight script, particles, plus more. Also the textures and prims can be edited if you wish.
