Here's a simple snow maker that with only 1 prim and script, offers you a touch / dialog based control system with the following options:
- On or Off
- Select a radius ranging from 10 meters to 60 meters
- Select snow density
Rez it, edit it, and move it up into the sky, about 30 meters above ground. Touch it for the options.
Yes .. this little gadget can cover approximately 11.000 square meters, and it's FREE. Need to cover more area ? Rez more, it's copy and mod !
The image shows a green prim which has a length of 60 meters, which is the maximum radius I have implemented, and the image shows the distance between my camera and the snow maker at 72 meters. The snow particles are still visible at greater distances, presumed your draw distance is high enough, and your viewer can handle the amount of particles.

Very good freebie. If you want to cover a big area (like 1/4 of sim or less) with one only seteable device, this is your best choice.
