Review for Podium [Mesh]
Low LI, Full Perm, and Unexpectedly Yurt-Friendly? This full-perm podium offers a sleek, modifiable base with 4 texture faces and included AO/UV maps, making it a solid option for builders. At 4LI, it’s efficient, but the stop-sign-sided shape with 11 sides and 4.5-step height give it a unique, almost runway-like feel that may not suit all projects. However, if you’re thinking outside the box, this might just be the perfect SL yurt step-up platform—because, honestly, SLers love a good quirk!
Key Features That Make It Shine:
Full perm flexibility—great for creators
4LI—low impact for builds
4 texture faces for customization
AO and UV maps included—easy texturing
Unexpectedly perfect for showcasing models or quirky builds
Potential SL yurt step-up platform? Maybe!
❌ Where It Falls Short:
Unusual shape (stop-sign sided, 11 sides)—may not fit traditional podium designs
4.5-step height feels more like a model’s platform—not a standard podium look
Might be an impulse buy that leaves you wondering, "Did I need this?"
Final Verdict: "A low-LI, full-perm podium with solid customization potential, but its unusual shape makes it more suited for creative builds than traditional podium setups. If you need a stylish display platform or a quirky SL yurt step-up, this might be a hidden gem."
Would Recommend? Yes, if the shape works for your vision! Otherwise, exploring more conventional podium designs might be a better option.
Size is right. Price is right. Needs railings.
But it will be good for DJs at my Ski lodge and I like that it is modifiable. Sadly, I could not use the central prim to mod a perfectly fitting railing and since my ski lodge is on the side of a mountain, railings are desirable. Maybe make an optional and modifiable railing that can go on top? I mean I can build one. But it'd be easier if it just came with one.
