This is a slightly enhanced script as seen in my Position Rotation Determinator Tool (received nothing less than 5 stars) but its easier to use (The old one will be withdrawn soon). And still selling at the same ridiculously low price of only $49L!!

You have your prim with the animation or pose in it, switch off any other scripts in the prim, sit on the object, touch it and you get a menu:-
from the menu you can load a pose or animation (no restriction on name length) that you have in the prim.
Then, select position or rotation and decide how far you want to move or rotate yourself in relation to the prim, ranges are -
position - 0.001 to 10 Metres
rotation - 0.001 to 45 degrees

once chosen then using the cursor keys and pg up/down will move or rotate your avatar on the x, y and z axis by the amount you picked.
Once you have the perfect position then touching the prim again and clicking details will provide you with the llSitTarget details - for example:-
llSitTarget(-<0.15000, -0.00200, 0.00100>,<0.91292, 0.13703, 0.00995, -0.38431>) - just copy and paste into your script;

Delete this script from the prim and you are ready with the perfect animation position, it will also save you using that redundant poseball that often gets added to furniture etc, this script will work in any part of any object that you own - as with all my products, low on price, high on quality, any questions or suggestions just drop me an IM in world and I will get back to you.

If I further improve the script you will get a free update.

keywords:- posing, sittiing, position, rotation, quaternion, bad headache :-)

Incidentally, the ultimate aim of the script is to give you the llSitTarget values which you then take and put into your own script. It is not intended as a stand alone posing script. Unfortunately it will not cater for the inevitable odd moron who purchases it..... I suppose if someone wanted to get all the llSitTargets for more than 12 animations, they could take out the ones they had completed and then add the new ones and get the values for those, just a wild thought...

This is a very useful script; a real time saver for accurate positioning. I've used the older version extensively for quite awhile, didn't know it had been updated.

Seller conveniently neglects to mention that this thing will only handle 12 animations, and wont work if you have more than 12 animations.

And it leaves behind floating text when you delete it.

Don't waste your time.
