By default the luminosity to most prefabs is set to 66. You can adjust it in the Texture > Color tab. Also add the supplied torches for light sources.

IMPORTANT: The prefabs do not have exterior surfaces. You must cover your build inside other build: a mountain or under a house, for example. Or you cam make your build inside a skybox.
