- 100% Custom Mesh
- Modular design to build your own setup
- Mounting brackets included
- Textures and UVs included
- Meets standard equipment mounting requirements
Appealing, but not quite up to standard
Pros:
- Well-built mesh. No obvious flaws in execution.
- Package did not include any advertising material for IT outsourcing companies.
Cons:
- Not actually suitable for 19-inch equipment. The rack pillars are 606mm apart, which is 23.8 inches. This would be extremely generous tolerance even for 23" hardware and almost certainly requires custom mounting brackets to fit accurately-sized hardware.
- Modularity is taken too far. Each rack segment (slightly less than 1 LI) is approximately 2U tall. As a result, the example assembly provided in package is 22 LI for a 0.9×0.5×1.3m (w×d×h) rack of approx. 28k tris. Rack segments should have been provided in larger increments to keep land impact down, e.g. 10U or 20U.
