Happy with my purchase!!!

Hey all! I found this jaket in a random search and I love it. I have to say that I wear it in a very different way as how it is presented. I play in Gor and I wear it bare chest and with a quiver with arrows at back. It looks cool! It is really a quality mesh product, and the wide diversity of options makes it even better.

And the best of all is the post-sell attention that the creators of it have given to me.

Now I regret I wrote all this because, I hope not many will buy it. I like to look original!!!

First off, let me say that I love R3. I like where they're going, I like what they're doing. Aggressive, grungey clothes, HUD based, mesh. These are good things. I was impressed when I saw they were doing a more militant formal top for guys. This coat comes close to being the best value for money, but falls short in a few key areas. Some quick fixes by the maker will solve it quick...I hope.

For one, the collar is misrepresented in this photo, for whatever reason. The knot for the tie is about 8 cm below where it should be, and where it appears to be in the photo. It's weird, and shouldn't be that way. For something this formal, you need a tie that fits flush and trim with the pocket of the collar, otherwise what's the point? Big disappointment there.

Other than that, the shape is fine. This certainly takes a page from Lapointe's tux, making the width somewhat rectangular, with only a slight taper near the hips. The shirt is untucked, but I can live with that I guess.

As far as colors go, there's a wide selection here, but they're all too pastel. I'm not sure why the red from the picture was not represented in the pack, but the real texture seems a bit more salmon than red. Maybe this was to give a bit of contrast between the layers, but if you include matching colors and off-matching colors, you can choose whether to make the vest pop or fade into the other underlayers. Confusing move there. Definitely should add the vest palette to the coat colors as well.

That being said, for 250, you wont find a better formal option. Even with system pants, (probably required given the length of this jacket) this is still sharp and pops. Only a few minor tweaks, and R3volt will be close to clinching the mesh suit of 2014.
