➽ PRODUCT INFORMATION
▨ Product name: Linen coif
▨ Era: Middle Ages
▨ Category: Hats
▨ Characteristics: 100% mesh, not rigged, not scripted, white and tintable
✎ HISTORICAL DESCRIPTION
Coifs are usually made of unadorned white linen and tied under the chin. They date from the 13th century, but fell out of popularity with men in the 14th century. As a hat they were worn by all classes in Europe from the Middle Ages to the early seventeenth century (and later as an old-fashioned cap for countrywomen and young children). As a padded version they were also often worn underneath helmets. This linen coif is not to be confused with a mail hood, also known as coif.

Brilliant!
The detail on this is amazing. My brother showed me this a while ago My avi is a toddler and I know it probably wasn't originally meant for child avis but it's resizable and works and looks cool for men in armour like my brother when he takes the tin can off his head and also for little kids in a historical setting.
Thank you for making this!!
