Display your work, or work-in-progress, on a highly realistic easel!
The easel is the simple wooden construction that you can find by the dozen in any art school. (I own 3 of them in RL.) It has three wooden legs, and is held together with wing-nuts. The back leg is kept from sliding too far by a chain held between two screw-eyes. In front is a grooved horizontal stand, held in place by wing-nuts clamping it to a horizontal bar behind the legs.
The canvas is primed linen, attached to the stretcher bars with a gallery wrap. (The staples are on the back.) There are two canvas keys in each corner, to make sure it stays nice and tight. The rectangular canvas also has a support bar in the middle.
All of this is real mesh, not texture tricks, so it looks wonderful in any setting.
The pieces also use Materials (normal and specular) so if you are using the Advanced Lighting Model in your viewer, you will see the canvas texture, and the shine on the staples.
Everything is full perm, so you can tint the easels, apply your own images to the canvas, and sell them with your images on them.
Both canvases are set up to show the full image on the front. (There is no wrap at this time. If you need it, please contact me.) Just find the image you want to use in your inventory, and drag it onto the canvas! Unless you remove the Normals, your image will automatically have a canvas bump.
Out of the box, the canvases have original images I made specifically for these easels. You are free to use them if you like, of course. Licensing does apply. (See below for the License.)
There is also an empty easel for your convenience, in case you have a framed picture or something of that kind that you would like to display.
The canvas is linked to the easel, so you can resize them separately, or just use the canvas! Complete instructions are included, if you need them. The linked set (canvas and easel) is 1 LI.
All original mesh, with hand-tuned LODs for Medium and Low, which give the whole very good LOD resistance.

LICENSE AGREEMENT:
Please do not purchase this model if you are unwilling to accept these terms.
You have purchased a license to use the mesh model in Second LIfe™. You did not purchase, and do not own, the Intellectual Property rights for the mesh or textures themselves.
The license for the mesh allows you to use it in your own builds, in any way you'd like, as long as it doesn't have both Copy and Transfer perms. (One or the other, but not both, please.) By "Build" I mean that you have to do something to add value to it before you can sell it. That means you need to combine it with other objects, or change the textures in a meaningful way. (Not a tint.)
For example, you can sell the canvas or easel without adding extra pieces to it, as long as it has your picture, not mine, on the canvas.
You are prohibited from selling my pictures, except as part of a room full of furnishings.
The use license is limited to Linden Lab's Second Life. You cannot use it on any other grid, nor in non-SL® images. If you would like to use it other places, or other ways, or if you have questions about a use you are considering, please contact me (Robin Sojourner) in world, or e-mail me at chat@robinwood.com and tell me what you would like to use it for. I might simply give you permission, or I might ask for another licensing fee. Which will depend on the use you want.
