For the times when you don't need a huge worktable, or for filling in the corner between two of my large worktables in an L-shaped layout, here's a worktable that matches my Worktable 2, but is half the size!

The top of this worktable is a square 2.5 x 2.5 meter normal prim, which means it never has any rezzing issues, and is perfect to roll up your sleeves and really get to work.

Touch the top, and you can choose from six surfaces. Wood (for pretty,) an accurate builder's grid, based on the grid by Carl Metropolitan, either untinted (white with black meter marks, blue and red grid lines lines and gray and green overlays for circles, hexagons, and triangles) or the grid with a dark gray tint. You can also choose solid white, dark gray, or black. And of course, since it's mod, you can tint it any color you want, to make it easy to see your projects.

With the grid, you can easily line things up, judge sizes and distances, and make circles, hexagons, and triangles to size.

With a plain surface, you can check for edges on shadow prims, work on small things without distraction, and even take simple product shots!

The work surface is large enough to spread out and work on small to medium size objects, but not so large you might have trouble fitting it in your room. The height is comfortable for a standing avatar (or one that's sitting on the stool.)

The table comes with a matching wooden Architect's Stool that has a screw that really lets you raise and lower the seat so you can be perfectly comfortable at the table. The stool cushion is covered with antique images of artist's tools. There are 15 poses in the stool, so you can read, study, draw, work on your laptop, talk on the phone, drink a cup of coffee, lean on the stool and contemplate your work, or sit and talk to visitors in comfort. Many of the poses rez props that use the AV Sitter Experience to auto-attach.

Leaning on one leg of the table are three stretched canvases, ready to put on an easel or hang on your wall. They really are, too, since they are 3 separate objects. (4 if you count the shadow; but you probably don't want to use that by itself.)

Each canvas is exquisitely detailed, with Museum mounting (staples on the back) lots of staples, and even two shims in each corner to keep the canvas taut. The canvas has both Normal and Specular materials (bump and shine) for added realism.

Also included are a couple of spiral bound pastel pads; one open to an original pastel drawing of a lily. A handful of loose pastels, along with some pastel dust (of course) sit next to them on the table. These are 3 separate objects. You can unstack the pads, or decide not to use the pastels. You can even put your own drawing on the pad! (Instructions are included.)

All of these things are copy/mod, so you can personalize them as desired.

So come on, treat yourself to a table that will make your work space a place to enjoy!

Worktable - 1 LI
Architect's Stool - 2 LI - 15 poses
Stacked Canvas - 2 LI linked (4 pieces, 0.5 LI each)
Pastel Pads and Loose Pastels - 1 LI linked (2 pieces, 0.5 each)

All the extra pieces are also packed separately, so you don't have to rez the whole worktable when all you want is the large pad.
