do yourself a favor, and don't buy these, unless you've got a good 2-4 hours of time to throw into modding them on top of the L$449
pros: the open version looks cute, quite as pictured; they're mod-able, which also means tint-able
cons: the closed version is ugly; they look iridescent in the picture, just look blah in-world; they have a ridiculous amount of scripts; they're a major pain to mod, since apparently doing almost anything via edit mode will break them; they require multiple hours of modding to be useable in a normal area; the allow/deny function is for everyone- the is no allow/deny a specific person/people; the price
i got these because i had been looking for a cute pair of wings for quite a while; i had actually seen these in pictures of dresses i had been looking at, and liked them, so i went searching and found them. i hesitated at spending so much on a little pair of wings, but rationalized that the other wings i really wanted -big, fluffy angel wings with lots of commands, options, etc.- cost almost or more than twice as much than these. so i got them, opened them, etc. the first thing that pops up is a notecard, so i start reading it. reading it reveals that using right click>edit to edit them will most likely break them. annoying, but ok. i put on the hud to try and adjust them that way. the hud has no instructions with it, and the font for the labels is about a size three, and incredibly difficult to read. eventually i get sick of messing around with it to try and change the position, so i go and change the colors (which is the one thing you can do via edit without breaking them, or so it says.) i don't know why, but i decided to look at the script board nearby- and saw that since adding my wings, i had gained more than five mbs of scripts. i went in and manually deleted the scripts, and realized that EVERY SINGLE FEATHER had a resize script in it. after a couple of hours, i had gotten rid of the hud, killed all the scripts, and arranged the wings via edit to a way that i liked them. the only reason they get two stars is because they -are- cute, after hours of work.
