Really Useful Online Indicator Version 2.3

An online status tracker in elegant mesh HUD design, without the text-heavy clunky interface of older online trackers.

Track rivals, stalkers, ex's, crushes, and besties in one handy tool, even if they are not on your Friends List or are hiding their online status.

KEY FEATURES
▪ Tracks the online/offline status* and login/logout times** of up to 8 avatars
▪ Profile picture of tracked avatar displayed like a small icon on the HUD
▪ HUD can be minimised to reduce its footprint (see 2nd picture). Or use Stealth mode for 50% transparency
▪ IM notification** can be switched on/off
▪ Sound notification (when an av comes online) can be switched on/off
▪ Switch to display the names of online/all avatars as hovertext
▪ Customise the timezone (GMT, PDT/PST supported) and adjustment to your local time (+/- hours)
▪ Rez it as a wall display board if you prefer not to have it as a HUD

Recommended HUD position is Top Right or Bottom Right, but it is up to you and you can make further adjustments to the size or position.

VERSION UPDATE
v2.2: Added hovertext switch: off, on (names of online avatars only), full (all avatars + last login/logout time)
v2.3: Added timezone adjuster for reporting login/logout times using local time

SIMPLE TO USE

1. To add an avatar to track, click an available slot on the display, and paste the UUID (key) of the avatar in chat.
- The profile picture of the avatar will be displayed after a few seconds.
- If the avatar is online, the picture will be 'lighted up' and an IM notification** will be given / sound will be played.
- If the avatar goes offline, it will be grayed and an IM notification** will be given.

2. To stop tracking an avatar, simply click their picture and hold for a couple of seconds.

3. To minimise the HUD, click on the gray arrow. To maximise, click on the green arrow (see second image).

(If you would like to use it in-world, drag it from inventory to the ground, and it will automatically resize to be bigger and you can use it like a wall display).

* DISCLAIMER NOTE: This script depends on a function that is provided by Linden Labs and there is sometimes a delay or discrepancy between what the function returns and what the SL viewer is showing. Also, if you are wearing the Indicator as a HUD, take note that when your avatar is logged out, the Indicator is no longer in-world and won't be able to track login/logout of the avies you are tracking; you will need to rez the Indicator in-world to continue tracking when your avatar is not in-world.

** NOTE ON INSTANT MESSAGES (IMs):
1. To receive object IMs when your own avatar is logged out, you need to rez the Online Indicator inworld.
2. To receive object IMs at your email address when your avatar is logged out, you must set your viewer Preferences and Second Life account settings to enable offline IMs to be sent to your email address.
