This seagull flaps it's wings while it flies in a random pattern. Optional it will screech too if you desire it.
The gull can be set to cover any size of area within one region. Depending on the size of the area you can choose one of three speeds. The flapping of wings and the screeching happen in random intervals.
These features give a very natural and realistic impression of real birds - see the pictures.
You can make some gulls flock around a boat while others cover a bigger area. Your fantasy is the limit.
The setup i very simple and done with a menu. Here is what you do:
Rez a gull. Touch it and a menu pops up (see pictures).
DO NOT CLICK 'FLY' YET!!!
Imagine a cube i which you want the gull to fly and stay within. Move the bird to any of the 4 low corners (ie. South West corner) and press 'Pos 1'.
Now move the bird to the opposite high corner ( ie. North East) and press 'Pos 2'.
The seagull will now stay inside that imaginary cube when it flies. Check 'Sound' if you want the bird to screech.
If you want more seagulls with the same setup just copy this one using Edit -> SHIFT and drag. The copies will contain the two positions.
The bird(s) are ready to fly. Adjust the speed if needed.
You can access the menu anytime by touching the gull or by saying (shouting) in local: gull.
