A beautiful French 18th century Louis XV Oak and tapestry À Chasis armchair. The frames of the seat furniture were made by the Parisian menuisier Nicolas-Quinibert Foliot, who, like his father, Nicolas Foliot, was furniture maker to the king’s household. The seat is covered in close-nailed Beauvais tapestry depicting big flower bouquets, made from the drawings of François Boucher. Armchairs 'À Chasis' which signifies the ease of removing the seat and back enabling to change the upholstery for every season.
