With permission from the original (mesh) creator, I redesigned the ruckus bed and lowered the land impact to just 4.
New textures! Less texture memory!
Texture changer in bed accessible by touch, and deactivates when sitting.
Instructions:
1 Unlink bed leaving just the root prim
2 Rez 4LI bed and position it to the same exact coordinates/rotation as the root prim.
3 Link the bed to the root prim and drop in the texture script

Lots more options of textures and a big reduction on prims. Just what I needed for my small low prim plot. I managed to set this up and I'm by no means an expert. Just watch the video and take it step by step

Lower prims, More & Better Textures!
I never really liked the look of my Do the Things bed as it just never fit in with my decor. This add-on is a huge improvement (although I do wish there were separate bedframe options). I use Firestorm Viewer so I easily copied the position and rotation of my bed before unlinking it. I then rezzed the new bed & pasted the saved position and rotation before linking to the original root prim of my Ruckus bed. I made sure to take a copy so I won't have to repeat these steps again.
I don't have a large prim allowance where I live so reducing the prims of my bed means I can now rez other inventory items to enhance my living space. And, while I was in this store I picked up some other add-ons to enhance my enjoyment of my Physics cock with the Ruckus bed & couch.
Getting it on is so much nicer now!
The original Ruckus Do The Things Bed was really lacking in good texture options. I love this add-on. I struggled a little with the instructions but eventually sorted it out. After adding the Physics Cock add-on scripts I made sure to delete any copies I had of the bed and then took the reconfigured one back into my inventory before re-rezzing it. Now the only problem I have is picking a texture (so many lovely options to choose from). Thank you!
A useful upgrade
This upgrade does not only add dozens of new well done textures to the Ruckus bed, but permits others than just the bed owner to set them and you no longer need to sit on the bed to change textures. Access can be set to group only to avoid tampering. Textures are loaded very fast.
Of course going down from 22 to 4 LI is also a major improvement.
As others already indicated you need to unlink the root prim from an original bed and link it to the new bed. Make sure the root prim is selected LAST before linking them again. Also make sure both the root prim and the new bed have the same rotation before linking them.
Is it worth a 1000L? Textures and a high LI were both a major draw back of this otherwise popular bed. Normally designers upgrade their products for free, not in this case...
