i have hesitated for years about wearing tatts because to me, they were cartoons and unimaginative decorations, meaningless and uninspired.
however, this simple thing showed me what can happen with care and colour. a representation of my thought and imagination. my conception of movement and attitude. devoid of politics, sexual innuendo or aggressive and pointless anger at a world the wearer is always afraid to exist in.
lightness, happiness and simple joy to be alive is what it expresses and that is all it needs to do.
it does that very well. i am glad to wear it.
