This pose will only affect the left arm, forearm and hand, allowing the rest of the avatar's body to move according the active AO.
You'll notice both hands turn into a fist, that's the expected behaviour. I'll sit here and wait till they decide to let us pose hands separatedly. :)

The hand goes back behind me or inside my body, like others have said. WASTE of money.

Yeah, the hand goes inside my avatar. completely. its a mess. I hope this gets fixed one day.
Don't Bother
The hand is held so close to the body that my package was inside my hip,straight in the trash can for this purchase waste of lindens.
