Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Icarus (Greek: Ἴκαρος, Latin: Íkaros, Etruscan: Vicare) is a character in Greek mythology. He is the son of Daedalus and is commonly known for his attempt to escape Crete by flight, which ended in a fall to his death. (Wikipedia)
This is a tongue-in-cheek name for this aircraft
Made almost exclusively in a 3D engine outside of Second Life this is a very unusual - almost luxury toy feel to it - and of course perfect for tinies
Nevertheless, that said, the larger craft of the two is no 'lightweight', based on a real life helicopter its curves and smooth angles make this a great loooking vehicle, and unlike anything else in second life built with standard prims. Great sprays and great audio make this a winner.
It offers you customisation of colors and design police or standard, and a host of cool controls for you to try - you will never get bored with them.
The Icarus will 'melt' you heart in the same way as the wax melted from his wings.
This is a very large phantom prim it can easily be adjusted out of range - as it stands it is in range - but if you find you cannot turn it on use the /25 niesun /25 nitesunoff commands instead and shout them using the Ctrl _ Enter key when sending - and it should be fine.
Cute looks, nice effects, and I like the sculpty extras that come with it. The handling definitely needs practice though. You fall if you lift your hands from the controls. ;)
