Marie-Antoinette had received a thorough musical education in Vienna during her youth and always practiced daily with an instrument once in Versailles. Her favorite instrument was the harp, which she played with a certain talent. It was by playing the harp that she made herself represented by the painter Gautier Dagoty showing it as part of her room at Versailles. This luxurious instrument was made in circa 1770 by one of the leading harp-makers in late 18th century Paris, Jean-Henri Naderman.

As a harpist myself irl, it is a delight to finally see a realistic harp in SL, particularly one of the fancier variety. It has the correct number of petals, and the strings are colored correctly and even include details like how the strings are attached to the top of the harp. Definitely my favorite SL harp in my collection!
