Scobas Notecard Server - Single Sim Version

This device will allow you to store and easily maintain all your product information notecards in one place. If you've just updated your product range and need to update all your notecards. Simple - just edit the notecards in the Notecard Server and you're done. No running around editing lots of notecard giver boards. Now you can always ensure that your customer gets the most up to date information.

This is the single sim version, so the notecard givers and the Notecard Server must be in the same sim. This makes it very easy to set up, it delivers notecards quickly and it is less laggy on the sim performance. The server can be in a skybox 1000M up if you wish.

You can configure a channel number for Server/giver. Each channel works independantly, so you may split your product range notecards over several servers. You may configure any number of notecard givers to a single server, you may also configure two or more notecard givers to deliver the same notecard. So it's flexibility personified!

You will receive a Notecard Server and a notecard giver. (both modify and copy) The notecard givers are of the type where a customer must click a prim to receive the product notecard. The prim must therefore have a suitable texture applied to it. e.g. Click for product information. It is not a device which gives notecards automatically when avatars arrive at your shop.

Operation is simple. Once you have configured the notecard givers to define the name of the notecard, you simply click 'Register' on the server menu and that's it ... configured. It takes care of itself. Notecards are delivered direct from the server to the avatar making the request. They never exist in the notecard giver.

The server accumulates statistics on who took which notecard and when. It can be set up to send a daily email to any number of email addresses, showing all statistics and you can configure an option to clear stats each time the email is sent. On demand emailing is also available via the menu.

A more detailed analysis of each notecard giver is also available via the menu system.

There is also a hovering text option which allows summary statistics to be displayed in real time, rather than having to keep accessing the server menus.
