Scripted Traffic Light System

Highly detailed Sim wide traffic light system. Various styles and sizes included.

How to set up your traffic light system:

1. Rez one of the Traffic Light Control Units. There are two included: one with pole and one without. Please notice that you may only place one controler per Sim. It's absolutely no problem if your neighbour uses the same system, 'cause every one is communicating over a user-specific channel. If you own land on two different Sims feel free to use one of the two controlers for each one. Please notice: a control unit covers one whole Sim, but it doesn't control traffic lights on other Sims.

2. Rez some traffic lights and traffic lights EXCL. Normal traffic lights follow the controler, that means they do the same thing like the master. EXCL lights do the opposite thing, that means if the controler shows red, the EXCL show green.

3. Rez some Pedestrian Lights. Pedestrian Lights belongs to normal Traffic Lights, pedestrian EXCL belong to the EXCL lights. This may sound a little confusing but don't worry: just play around a bit, you can't destroy anything ;-)

4. Touch the control unit. A menu will open where you can adjust the time (how long green will be shown) from 15 seconds up to 90 seconds. Furthermore you can select, if the yellow light should blink never, at day, at night or all the time, e.g. for flashlight at night select 'Night' and 'Beacon on'.

5. By default the traffic light system uses "visible light", that means the environment is illuminated. There's a limitation in Open GL (that's the stuff controlling your graphic card) that only 6 light sources are shown. So if you don't like visible lights switch it off using the appropriate button. Please notice that changes are visible but the next interval.
