This secret decoder ring will let you message your friend from anywhere in secondlife even if they are offline!
local bystanders will only see gibberish.
your friend does not need a decoder ring for you to be able to secretly talk to them.
Here are the simple steps for setting up your secret decoder ring:
1. Wear your Secret Decoder Ring. It is set to your right hand. Feel free to put it wherever you like.
2. Pick a friend to use it with.
3. Say /22set friend <friend's name> (or most of thier name) so if you wanted me to be your friend, you would stand next to me and say /22set friend October
4. If you did the proceedure properly, the ring will tell you and your friend that it is now registered to them.
5. you can now use your decoder ring! anytime you type '/22a message' they will get the message from anywhere you are in the game. so if you type '/22hello there!' they will get a message saying 'hello there!' local bystanders will only see gibberish.
6. your friend does not need a decoder ring for you to be able to talk to them. they will need one to be able to talk to you over one though.
