v.1.5 March 2024
A security panel for your whole parcel or home. Simple to use. You will need to be the OWNER in 'About Land' or a MEMBER OF THE LAND GROUP, in the latter instance deeding is not needed, however, you will need to be wearing your group tag when you rez it, in order for the Security Panel to confirm you are a member of the land group, it will not function otherwise.
No floating text, it changes texture to indicate status and sounds an alarm if you have an intruder. The four status types are:
Armed
Disarmed
Intruder Alert
Offline (Only when first rezzed)
There is a working clock, you can adjust the time zone and use 24 hour format or standard am/pm format. The clock is a separate prim and can be removed if you do not want to use it.
You can have admin lists, friend lists, block lists, allow group members or not and there is an active or passive mode. When in passive mode, only those on your block list are ejected. Active mode will only allow those on your admin or friend list.
You can set distance if using in individual sky boxes or set to parcel if for the entire parcel.
You can set your own time limit before people are ejected.
In the settings there is a report section which will print to local chat, all names of admins, friends, visitors, ejected etc. Only unique visitors will be retained in the list, this means if I were to visit you 50 times, I would only be listed once.
Including friend, admin, visitors, ejected and block lists it can store approximately 350 names depending on name length. Once the script reaches a memory limit threshold, it will automatically delete non essential lists such as visitors and ejected and start over. You can also do this manually.
A full help notecard is included, this can be retrieved from the panel itself, should you lose it in the future.
I have tried to make the menus as user friendly as possible, but always welcome feedback for any future updates.
There are four panels delivered, suffixed with (1), (2) etc, each uses different channels for those not using parcel as a range, who wish to set up different zones within the parcel.
IMPORTANT
The textures are script controlled and cannot be altered. Modify permissions are for resizing purposes only. Please note that the "lights", "sockets" and other buttons on the screen do not provide individual operations, they are there for texture purposes only, there is no ability to control lights or sockets and the same dialog box will appear no matter where you click.
In your inventory it will appear as copy only, however when you rez it, you will have modify permissions and be able to resize it if needed. All scripts are no modify, which is why it appears only as copy.
The colouring of textures can vary depending on windlight settings and the time of day. The screen is set to full bright as it is supposed to be a backlit screen and would be clear in the dark, however this is something you can change, the script does not control the full bright option.
CLOCK TIME ZONE ADJUSTMENT
In order to adjust the time zone, you will need to click on the clock's display itself, it is not in the Security Panel menu.
Default Dimensions:
L40cm x H27cm x D1.5cm
Smallest Dimensions without using edit linked for the clock:
L26cm x H18cm x D1cm (Please note SL has a restriction which will not allow you to resize any prim smaller than 1cm.

Not bad
It looks nice, but I can't resize it and I find it a tad too big. It doesn't prompt me a window to allow/disallow visitors, making me have to manually add them as friends beforehand, because I don't know how to give temporary access. It's a good idea, but need polishing.
WOW This is next level!! AMAZING!!
I was only looking for a security panel decor to cover up my ugly orb and came across this that doesn't just keep intruders out it even makes a loud when somebody enters that's not on the access list. Also, it has a working clock and doesn't have ugly hover text but instead shows you fancy high-tech textures.
Keep up the great work! :D
