Description:
While you may think avatars are blocked both ways when you block THEM, unfortunately it does not stop THEM receiving YOUR, text and voice, yes *GASP!*...The Selective Chat is a powerful communication tool tailored for Second Life, enabling users to broadcast messages selectively to nearby avatars while excluding specified individuals. This innovative script is integrated into a hud object, which can be conveniently placed or worn. It is designed for users seeking privacy and control over their communication, allowing for the creation of a personalized chat experience. Whether you're hosting an event, conducting a private meeting, or simply chatting in a public space, the Selective Chat ensures your messages are not read by those whom you'd rather it hadn't.

Notes:
1) This, does not work and/or is not advised, on, Genesis and other viewers that do not have configuration for the chat channel, you should check this first, Firestorm does have this feature.
2) If the wearer has standard characters in their screen name then it will relay chat as your name, however, if your avatar, has non-standard characters or does not have a "Screen Name/Display Name", then it will just use the "Avatar Name"; SL has limitations on naming of objects.
3) The effective range of message relay is within a 96-meter radius, encompassing avatars who are not on the blocked list and ensuring your message is broadcasted selectively within this area.
4) For optimal performance and to avoid script errors, it is recommended not to exceed the Second Life limits on the number of characters in a chat message (1023 characters) and the script memory limits.
