The Sequential Prim Renamer (Numerical Order) is able to take a selection of prims and automatically assign a sequential number to their names or descriptions (from 1 to ∞).
With this tool, you are able to:
• Prepend → add number (prefix) to the beginning of each name or description;
• Append → add number (suffix) to the end of each name or description;
• Replace → replace each name or description with their correspondent number.
››› Update 1.1 ››› the script now lets you choose to append/prepend with or without adding spaces
Also check out the "Sequential Prim Renamer (Notecard List)" that sequentially renames your prims using a notecard instead.
Instructions / How to use?
====================
(1). Select your prims from the last to the first one (descending order) and link them together:
∟ the first prim you select will correspond to the last number of your selection of prims;
∟ the last prim you select will become root and correspond to number 1;
(2). Now that you have linked all of your prims together, drag the script to the root prim and follow the dialog boxes (pop-ups)
(3). After renaming your prims, the script will ask you if you'd like to automatically unlink all prims. Choose 'Yes' or 'No'
(4). ✔ Done.

Freaking amazing!
I had no clue this script existed until a fellow creator told me, so useful for setting up buttons on texture HUDs :D
Holy Cow!
I reviewed this item because while it did exactly what it said on the tin, it didn't do it exactly the way I expected, and added a space when it appended text. After my review though, zhutra0 responded by updating the script and sending me the fresh copy. What stellar service!!
Great quality products, but even better service. Couldn't recommend more.
