Shaker Mountain Cabin Version 4

The Shaker Mountain Cabin was designed with a single purpose, and that is a beautiful rustic cabin with a low prim count. Even with the working fireplace, functional porch lights, and rustic lamp posts that can be copied and operated region-wide, we have achieved that goal.

There is only one room, as a cabin get-away should be. The room is large at 14x12m giving you plenty of room for cozy furniture and perhaps a hide-a-way bed. The deck measures 22x21m to allow for plenty of rockers and Adirondack chairs.

The Shake Mountain Cabin is all mesh with the exception of the deck and the deck's fence, interestingly enough, which are prim for lower prim count (really, we checked). This also allows flexibility where you might need it. For example, you might want to move the stairs to the other side.

This new version 4 added the pilings under the cabin and the stairway. Many of our customers wanted this cabin for hilly or mountainous terrain. You are able to delete the pilings if not needed. The stairs' lower deck may be moved up higher should that be needed (which I'm guessing you might very well want to).

The transom windows are new to version 4. You may lower the top half, or raise the bottom half, or both. The rounded sill was designed especially for plants. I included small geraniums as a sample.

The handsome stone fireplace now has a chimney, something I left off the previous versions because the beams are in the way. I decided to include one with version 4. Again, you may unlink it and delete it if so desired. The fire is menu driven, same as before.

The big windows in the front may be darkened by touching them. I don't know why I did that. Because I could, I guess.

This cabin is at home in a wide variety of locations, but it belongs someplace special to you.

This cabin is designed for hilly and mountainous terrain. Rez the rezzer on the ground and raise it 5m. The rez the home. Gradually sink it into the ground where it needs to be. Take note of the lamp post and the stairs' lower porch.
