These are tools to assist in creating well proportioned shapes. Unfortunately the forum hosting the main guide went down, but there is a notecard with images now included! I will have a revised site up sometime, stay tuned!
The height HUD error with 12 or more avatars has now been fixed!
Thank you!
This is exactly what I have been looking for. Heads up, it's not a quick 2 minute job, so give yourself some time and perfect it. It's totally worth it and I feel much more confident knowing my avi is in proportion. Thank you.
Just perfect! Everyone should have it!
I love this tool, is just perfect, I'm a big fan or RL proportions for a normal body, you never will go wrong with this, it helps you to create a very normal and proportional human anatomy. Thank you for make this shape tool. I just wish all SL users have it lol.
Still applicable years later!
I just wish was FP so I could hand it out to all those misshapen avatars out there.
Great tools for properly proportioning avatars!
Along with an "ideal female proportions" graphic I grabbed from one of Strawberrry Singh's blogs on avatar proportioning (which I made into a "walk through" template that allows me to just walk an avatar through the plane containing the graphic and SEE how close it is to those "ideal" RL proportions), these tools of Vaelissa's are indispensable for anyone who wants to adjust or create her avatar so that it's.. just right. Of course, only YOU can say what "just right" is, but Vaelissa's Shape Tools and the discussions on avatar proportions in Strawberry Singh's tutorials take a LOT of the guesswork and calculations out of avatar design - with these tools and that information, you can almost free-hand an avatar using "Edit Shape"!
I have this listing saved to my picks...
...because these tools are just too awesome! I feel the need to send people to these tools every time someone tells me my head is too big or my overall height is far too small. Thank you for bundling all of this stuff together!
Should be given to half the avatars on the grid!
This is an excellent, easy to use tool to create human proportioned shapes and even give you an idea of how much you can tweak and still be relatively in line with size, proportion, etc.
This should be a mandatory hand out to any eight foot tall avatar with a pin head.
