The STC Greeter is an all-in-one package for every shop owner. It not only welcomes every visitor and informs the owner about the visit, but you can invite the visitor in a group (the group must be open) and it is an Inventory giver with which you can distribute not only landmarks or note cards but also freebies .

Manual: Rezz the prim on the ground. Edit the config notecard. Customize the Prim so that it covers the shop floor and make the prim invisible at the end or lay a floor texture on it.
