... The mushroom forest whispered around us. Sidhe Trumpet fungi grew all around, some as small as a hand and some larger than swamp elders. Their bright colors and strange, pagoda like structure increasing the feeling of other-worldliness of the fungi forest. Sharian the old stood contentedly poking at our camp-fire. I sat with my back propped against one of the wood giant stalks, and took a deep breath of the musty, fragant sunset breeze.
